Forget what you thought you knew
In an earlier post, I claimed that making the bed was one of the things I am expert at. After Day 1 of staging our condo, I’ve had to re-assess that assertion. My wife doesn’t care much for making the bed, but she has taken that job over as we try to show the condo in its best light to visitors. Apparently, my efforts, while good enough for the day-to-day, are not show-worthy.
I don’t think there’ll be time before this week of showings are done for me to truly master the art, but I’ve already requested a “lesson” from my wife. In the meantime, I did what I usually do in these situations, went looking for YouTube videos for help.
Here’s one from the Vancouver Airport Marriott. Who better to learn from than a hotel, where every bed needs to be pristine.
Check back next week to see if I can step up my bed-making game.
